Will I ever post anything „finished“ again? Here‘s another WIP 🥲

Been re-watching Eureka Seven after many many years, so that was kind of my inspiration.. this anime hasn‘t aged too well in a few aspects, but I still liked the general vibe.

Unfinished fantasy portrait illustration. The character’s head merges into butterfly wings that have a few intense eyes on them. The character‘s face has empty eyes and long wavy hair. On top of the head is a a crown sketched out, unfinished. There‘s also an unfinished butterfly beneath the head, flying around.

@Splig true! now thinking about re-watching samurai champloo.. also loved that one back in the day, mostly for the art and soundtrack, too.

it reminds me of this old concept of mine, where a tiny creature had wings that would mimic a predator's head when unfolded
a pencil drawing of a plump little fairy-like critter with wings that together with the body coloration kinda-sorta make it look like a cat's face from the front
