@adlerweb

Over a hundred answers in under 35 minutes. Awesome! I hope we can get a large (even if skewed) sample size here :)

As a followup, check how many of the positive were hanging out with people coming from DefCon ...

@tnt Ehehehe, you can do that :D

I might do a follow-up of my poll with the same question in 10 days.

@e_tews Keep testing. The new variant sometimes takes a few days to be recognized.
A friend of mine also has a bad cold and so far is not positive. I hope it stays that way for everyone with a cold.

Get well soon!

I am really curious if this poll will hit 600 responses. That would be 10% of the people at camp!

I am really amazed by the participation so far! Thank you all!

@wmd Can you explain why it is biased? (I do not disagree, just wanna know your reasoning.)

@wmd Even if it is skewed and you say let's only count one tenth of the poll... The incidence would still be damning 800... instead of the original 8000!

@wmd Yeah, that is imo the biggest bias. But with the sample being more than 10% of the total population... maybe this can even be discounted to some degree.

I posted a short interpretation of the poll results in a thread here:

trees.social/@andrej/110983677…

Follow-up to trees.social/@andrej/110934661…

Thank you all so much for participating. More than 10% of the people that were at #cccamp23 particpated in the poll. This is huge! While there definitely is some sample selection bias, I am more and more conviced that there is little skewing in the answers themselves.

1/x
