You can mute someone for a few hours or days, after which they'll show up in your feed again.
There's a lot of new people joining right now and if all the new energy is making you a bit stressed or anxious, don't be afraid to mute people for a while 💚🌻🍂

yes. if i look at your timeline, there is no seperate post about you tagging the picture after the fact. i have also seen such a post in my own timeline when i post tagged a picture, but people who are not you do not see this. i think it is a bit like the activity list on fb merged into ones personal timeline.

happy about a sliver of hope regarding future socializing, partying and so on, and at the same time... sad about the global inequality which totally could be avoided but, alas, capitalism.
Tiktok is such a horrifying app. People are constantly misspelling & enciphering necessary & neutral words like “ableism” and “death” just to attempt to bypass the omnipotent Algorithm. But it’s easy for even simple machine learning these days to get past such ciphers. So people have to make their videos less and less accessible so they don’t get put on a list of dissidents, or just sanitise what they say to please the capitalist overlords. What a dystopian vision of the internet.

ich glaube, es geht nur vorwärts. es gibt n lokalen feed, und es gibt globale feeds von allem zeug, was auf der instanz so öffentlich passiert, und was auf den verbundenen instanzen so passiert.
Benutzer blockieren scheint in dieser Instanz iwie nicht zu gehen hm. Generell kann friendica das wohl schon, aber diese Hovercards finde ich nicht? Naja, I will survive.

yo, bin auch immer angepisster von Fb, gibt kaum mehr interessanten Content, dafür krieg ich pausenlos Blockchainwerbung und meine Freunde + ich werden aus lächerlichen Bullshitgründen gesperrt (zB wenn man Faschos eine reinhauen möchte oder irgendeinen SEXUAL CONTENT hat lol)
